I don't know what happened to the week ......................... it is almost over. Tuesday evening was Weavers and Spinner Guild meeting and I volunteered to be one of the membership people. Wednesday was Sock knitting at the Pool hall/coffee house. Only I think we may have to change the name ..... Gail and Sharon were knitting shawls, Laura was knitting her afghan, only Kathy and I were knitting socks. I discovered why DH socks weren't getting any bigger ....... I don't like knitting socks on 2 circular needles.I put the stitches on double pointed needles and they are getting bigger much faster. I guess I will put the other socks on DPs too. I have given the circular ones a good trial but I just don't like it. I will save the circular ones for my lace knitting.
I have another find to share. I picked up a sweater in the VV that is 88% silk and 12% cashmere. This is going to be used for the Goddess Knits KAL. It is lovely, soft and a rusty brown so I hope the colour fits the pattern.
I am still working on Clue one of the Slow Bee Mystery 1. I have to fix the mistake I made last night when I was tired.
I just read an email put out on the Slow Bee Mystery. I have been making lots of mistakes but will keep pluggin and hopefully will get better with experience.
ReplyDeleteI had to laugh reading your blog.You are funny! I too retired in 2006 and dont remember when I dusted last.After I retired I learne dot knit and now am spinning too. I try to clean the clutter up but this knitting and spinning is taking over.
